SELF-ASSESSMENT

This term have been good. I love the Project of the videoclip and I hope that the next two terms we make more like it!! But some things were a bit bad, a didn't like so much Michael's lessons, sometimes his classes are a bit boring, but I have learnt some pronuntiation. Also I have learnt a lot of vocabulary!

The higher bidder = the person who offers the most money

The money raised = all the money that you get

Appeal = attract
Volunteering
Claim = say something is true althogh you might not be able to prove it
Broadcast = the TV is there
Appear = perform or speka where you are seen by a lot of people
Convince = succeed in making somebody believe something
Promote = tell people about a service or product to make it popular
Let's face it!!
Play truant = get away form school = skip clases
Spoonful of medicine
Soap operas
TV set = the piece of furniture

IDIOMS

You are a quick learner!! = you learn very fast

It's time to hit the books! = study very hard

Once in  a blue moon = very rarely

Pull yourself together = calm down and behave normally

Showed her true colors = she reveal one's true nature

Out of the blue = appear out of nowhere without warning

It's just like me 

Let's call it a day!! = quit work and go home

It was caught red-handed = catch someone commiting a crime

Chase rainbows!!
